The 2010 Tournament generated over $38,000 for STARS to support bullying prevention, positive behavior support, peer mediation, alternative to full suspension, etc.  Because a healthy school climate is the foundation for all academic success, your contribution strengthens school personnel to address issues that hinder the learning process.  PLUS, you’ll enjoy great food and wonderful fellowship at the exclusive Black Creek Golf Course. Judy Wilson, the STARS first executive director, translated her energy and love of life into a passion to help youth make healthy choices and refrain from the use of drugs and violence.  Judy lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2001.  This tournament was named as a memorial to her dedication to the much needed work of supporting the decision-making process of youth.  Today, STARS continues to work with administrators, teachers, and students to improve student performance and support social and emotional development.
